INGLEWOOD – The Fair Political Practices Commission has kicked back a complaint filed against Inglewood Councilwoman Gloria Gray for holding seats on the city council and the West Basin Municipal Water District board. The complaint was lodged on April 18 by resident Lauren Sutton, which in essence alleges that Inglewood residents are not being properly served by Gray sitting in both seats.

RIVERSIDE – Multiple people were stabbed by a sober living resident early Monday morning in Riverside. Riverside Police Department officers responded to the 3800 block of 4th Street around 3:00 a.m. to reports of a resident stabbing other residents and the house manager inside the residence. According to a witness who was walking by said the suspect chased residents into the street, where he continued to assault other residents.

LOS ANGELES – A man has died from injuries sustained in a shooting late Saturday night. The victim was shot inside a Baldwin Hills apartment in the 4100 block of West Blvd. The man was able to drive himself to the Los Angeles Fire Department station in the 4400 block of Coliseum Street and was transported to Cedars Sinai Hospital. Upon arrival, the man was pronounced deceased. His identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.

COMPTON – The family of a 12-year-old boy shot to death Friday has established a GoFundMe fundraiser to assist them during this difficult time. “Good morning. Today I want to talk to you about a wonderful boy, only 12 years old, who unfortunately, on May 9th, a stray bullet took his life. He was a boy with many dreams. He liked sports, he played soccer. I think it was his life after his family. He was a big fan of the Boston Celtics. He also liked and was excited about American football.
