    WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - The CCRI softball team is capping off another successful season with its second straight appearance in the NJCAA Division III World Series. After putting together a 19-7 overall record, the Lady Knights will be representing the Northeast in the eight-team tournament. A sendoff celebration was held Monday before the team hit the road to New York. The World Series will be played May 21-24 at Carrier Park in DeWitt.

    Each of the faucets were tested and found to have lead seeping into drinking water at levels high enough to harm infants and children, according to the CPSC. None of the nine faucet manufacturers will agree to an voluntary recall. Click here for a list of the impacted faucets. Those who purchased the recalled faucets are urged to stop using and dispose of them. If the faucets need to be used prior to being replaced, the water should be run for 15 seconds prior to drinking.

    PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - More than 19,000 models of off-road motorcycles have been recalled because they pose a crash hazard, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The front brake caliper on the GASGAS and Husqvarna Off-Road Motorcycles can crack, which could reduce the brake system's effectiveness. No injuries have been reported. The off-road motorcycles were sold at authorized GASGAS and Husqvarna dealers nationwide for between $10,000 and $13,000.
