PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) - The convicted murderer accused of killing a 62-year-old Pawtucket man nearly 17 years ago is maintaining his innocence. James Grilli, 42, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Carl Seebeck. Investigators believe Grilli shot and killed Seebeck, who was the brother of now-retired Pawtucket detective John Seebeck, during an attempted robbery.
