    The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for most of Maine and all of New Hampshire until 11 p.m. Thursday. The severe thunderstorm watch area covers all Maine counties with the exception of Knox, Waldo, Penobscot, Hancock and Washington counties. The cities of Portland, Lewiston and Augusta are all under the watch. Scattered showers and storms are moving in with a strong cold front.
