5 1/1 Easter eggs have been on the shop shelves since the Christmas trimmings were packed away, such is the pace of life these days. When I was a child, Easter was an occasion we looked forward to, and planned for, much in the same way as we did other annual festivals. Nowadays, the year seems to go by in a blur with no discernable ‘seasons’ or high points, which I think is a shame.

Hunts Hill Stores in Glemsford, near Sudbury, was started by husband and wife team, Tony and Carole Mitchell, in 1997.

8 1/1 Dieticians inform us there is very little better for our health than eating ‘five’ fruit and vegetable portions a day. Now I love my veg, so I totally agree that getting your nutrition the natural way is best. But I don’t think this ‘five a day’ theory is anything new.
