AbstractAn array of radiatively coupled emitters provides a platform for generating, storing and manipulating quantum light. However, the simultaneous positioning and tuning of several lifetime-limited emitters into resonance remains a challenge. Here we report the creation of superradiant and subradiant entangled states in pairs of lifetime-limited and subwavelength-spaced organic molecules by permanently shifting them into resonance with laser-induced tuning.

People love to anthropomorphize things. They make cute drawings of objects or animals. For the most part, this is really sweet, except when it’s an octopus. These awful, not-fish things are really creepy and I hope to never see them in person or see another documentary about them. A group of octopuses is called a consortium. It makes it seem like these octopuses are all getting together and making some sort of deal, probably an agreement to take down the human race.

Everyone has different preferences on what they enjoy reading when they have the opportunity. I think fiction is better and more interesting. Fiction is so much more compelling. Whether it is set in the dystopian future or in 2012, fiction comes directly from someone’s imagination. Nonfiction is about real people and events that have already occurred.

Being able to choose a viable research topic is an important skill for any student. It is the difference between writing a good paper and a horrible one. Final assignments often carry a lot of weight in grading, this can make selecting the right topic feel like a difficult decision and responsibility. To start out, start answering questions like who, what, when, where and why about things you have learned over the semester.

While traveling over Spring Break, I had to drive hundreds of miles and I realized that there are a lot of bad drivers out there. Driving seems like a mundane task, especially because South Dakota residents drive so much, but there are so many outside factors that make driving actually very complex and can be stressful. Once people learn how to drive it feels like an automatic task. You only need to get from point A to point B.

February 28th, 2023 Opinion Procrastination is a common problem for students, especially when our lives are full of things we need to get done. Whether something else might have priority, you don’t know how to start or you just don’t want to do something, procrastination can cause a lot of unnecessary stress. With midterms coming up it’s important to start studying or getting into good habits of studying. The best way to stop procrastination is to figure out why you are avoiding assignments.

For the longest time, I have known monkeys make me uncomfortable. I avoid them every chance I get. If I see an enclosure at the zoo containing a monkey, I avoid it. I just do not like them and have not figured out why I dislike them. My distaste for monkeys doesn’t include all monkey types. Some of them, like squirrel monkeys, are actually kind of cute. They are small and cute enough that I am willing to forgive them for their monkeyness.

Every time a new semester starts I always wonder which is better, an online version of my textbook or a printed version. I feel like e-books are more of a hindrance than a help when it comes to learning new material. A printed, physical copy of a textbook is far superior to the online version. E-books are typically cheaper than physical versions of textbooks because there are no printing costs when creating e-books. Another drawback of e-books is they can only be rented.
