AbstractAn array of radiatively coupled emitters provides a platform for generating, storing and manipulating quantum light. However, the simultaneous positioning and tuning of several lifetime-limited emitters into resonance remains a challenge. Here we report the creation of superradiant and subradiant entangled states in pairs of lifetime-limited and subwavelength-spaced organic molecules by permanently shifting them into resonance with laser-induced tuning.

Bio Professor Walther obtained his Master degree from Stony Brook University on a Fulbright exchange under the supervision of Prof. Ken Dill in the field of nonequilibrium statistical mechanics. He then continued on a PhD with Prof. Thomas Pohl at the Max-Planck-Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems (Dresden, Germany) and at Aarhus University (Denmark) with a focus on Rydberg interactions of semiconductor excitons (summa cum laude).
