P.S.A.: Jake Shane loves Baton Rouge!Influencer, podcast host, self-described octopus lover and comedian Jake Shane visited Baton Rouge this weekend on his nationwide comedy tour, and it seems like he had a good time. Shane posed for an Instagram photo at BLDG 5 Market under the Perkins overpass on Friday afternoon, saying 'Baton Rouge food hits different'. He then headed over to Jubans on Perkins Road, where he posted a TikTok eating gumbo, aptly captioned 'I love Baton Rouge'.

Members of the LSU Athletics grounds crew had to get creative Wednesday clearing snow from Skip Bertman Field at Alex Box Stadium. Groundskeepers used leaf blowers, plows and snow blowers to alleviate the icy conditions on the field. See photos from the day here.
