The Daily Reveille has served as the student newspaper for Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, since 1887. It is published weekly on Thursdays throughout the fall, spring, and summer semesters. The paper has a circulation of around 6,000 copies each day.

Lee said the freeze will be over on July 1, matching the end date of the government hiring freeze Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry instituted across the executive branch on April 11. The LSU Law School made a jump in the U.S. News & World Report's Best Law Schools in America rankings, up to No. 84 in the country. LSU Law had previously been No. 91 in 2024 and No. 109 in 2022. LSU softball's Tori Edwards and Maci Bergeron were named Division I All-Americans by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Wednesday, capping off a successful season for the duo known as the "Smash Sisters."Edwards, a freshman first baseman, was named a second-team All-American after tying the LSU single-season home run record with 18. She had a .375 batting average on the season with 73 RBI. Edwards has also been named an All-American by D1Softball and Softball America.
