By recognizing how Ayurvedic medicine was disparaged during the colonial period by the Western world, explaining the significance of social determinants of health within the context of Ayurvedic medicine, and acknowledging the importance of spiritual and mental health on physical health as understood today.

A son has settled a claim against Whittington Health NHS Trust after his father was deprived of vital medication for more than 40 hours. Lester Wilson, who was originally from Jamaica and had served in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War, died aged 90 following multi-organ failure two days after he was admitted to Whittington Hospital in London.

INTRODUCTION Mental health services have cultivated their own set of problematic language, jargon, phrases and buzzwords. Timms (2017) argues that when mental health services adopt words and phrases, their meaning starts to dissolve. He terms (Timms, 2017) weasel words that carry covert meanings, or overtones of meaning intended to confuse. We propose that resilience is such a weasel word. Such terms are used because of their novelty and lack of clear definition.
