    NORTH GREENBUSH, NY (WRGB) — A North Greenbush business owner was arrested Tuesday for suspected drug activity at his house, according to the North Greenbush Police Department. On Tuesday, May 6th, Christopher Regan, 40, was arrested for multiple drug charges. The Shared Services Response Team executed a search warrant at Reagan's house on April 22. Investigators found roughly 1 gram of cocaine, 1 gram of fentanyl, and 11 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, which is a hallucinogenic substance.

    SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (WRGB) — Next month, the 17th annual Cantina Kids Fun Run event is taking place in Congress Park in Saratoga Springs! The proceeds from the run go towards the Saratoga Hospital as more than 10,000 children go through the emergency care services each year. The money is used for pediatric-related training, certifications, equipment, and technology, enabling Saratoga Hospital to provide a high level of care to pediatric patients and their families.

    COLONIE, NY (WRGB) — Recruiting staff is a continuing goal of the Colonie Police Department; it's one of the objectives in the department's strategic plan. Currently, the department is down five officers, but is in the hiring process with hopes to bring ten officers on staff in the coming months. Chief Jay Gerace says they have several officers preparing for retirement and anticipate more retirements further down the road.
