SUWANEE, Ga. -- The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Softball Team was selected on Tuesday by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) softball programs combined for an impressive 25 selections. Ozarks, Texas Lutheran and Trinity led all SCAC squads with five honorees each, while Centenary and Southwestern placed four student-athletes each on the squad and Austin College rounded out the SCAC selections with two designees.

Shreveport – The Centenary softball team has been selected as Centenary Athletics' "Team of the Week" after the Ladies had an impresive performance in last weeked's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship. The Ladies, who finished their season at 21-22 overall, went 2-2 in the event, falling one game shy of advancing to the championship round.

Georgetown, Texas - Three Ladies were named to the 2025 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship All-Tournament Team following the conclusion of the championship this past weekend, the league office announced. Sophomore CF Noelle Sandmann (Huntsville, Texas), senior P/UT Emma Shepherd (Athens, La.), and senior C Abby Touchet (Shreveport, La.) earned spots on the team following their impressive individual performances over the weekend for the Ladies.

Georgetown, Texas – The No. 6 seed Centenary softball team had its season come to an end with a 5-0 loss to the nationally-ranked and No. 1 seed Texas Lutheran Bulldogs in an elimination game of the 2025 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship at Taylor-Sanders Field on the campus of Southwestern University.

Austin, Texas – The No. 6 seed Centenary softball fell 6-2 to the No. 3 seed Trinity University Tigers on Friday as the Ladies opened play in the 2025 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship at Roberts Family Field on the campus of Concordia University. The Ladies (19-21) led the Tigers (31-10) by a score of 1-0 after four innings but Trinity scored four times in the fifth and two in the sixth to pull away for the win.
