    MADRID – Greek No. 11 seed Maria Sakkari continued her excellent clay-court form at the Mutua Madrid Open on Sunday, dismantling Italy’s sixth seed Jasmine Paolini 6-2, 6-1 to book her spot in the Round of 16. The victory marks Sakkari’s first win over a Top 10 opponent this season, snapping an 0-8 run against elite competition that dated back to last year’s BNP Paribas Open. Sakkari fired six aces and broke Paolini’s serve six times, surrendering her own serve only once.
