All the 92 candidates who sat for KCSE at Mama Malia Academy, a school associated with Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka have had their results withheld by the Kenya National Examination Council (Knec). The private school is located in Tseikuru in Mwingi North and accommodates orphaned and vulnerable children. It was established by the Kalonzo family in honor of his late mother; mama Malia.

Machakos residents have breathed a sigh of relief after doctors called off a 60-day strike that had paralyzed healthcare services in all public health institutions. The Government has assured Kenyans who qualify for jobs abroad of support in processing the necessary clearance and travel documents. Labor Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua said the ministry has designed a one-stop recruitment platform where Kenyans who pass interviews to work abroad will gain access to required paperwork.
