Living with hearing impairment can be incredibly challenging, especially when it affects communication with loved ones. My wife and I have struggled with this for many years. I wear hearing aids and rely on lip reading as well so everyday conversations can be difficult. Many times, what I hear is not what she is saying. While occasionally it is funny, more often than not, it is frustrating when something important is lost in translation.
