MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Rain showers and thunderstorms are going to return to parts of the Mid-South on Thursday, although the day will not be a complete washout. There will be a first batch of rain that moves through northern Mississippi and will clip a few of the counties in Tennessee, too. These could have a few thunderstorms embedded, so it would likely be a good idea to have the rain jacket or umbrella on standby for Thursday morning. Most of that rain should be out of the region by Noon.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - While generally drier and sunnier weather conditions will be developing around the Mid-South over the next week, there is still one day we are monitoring for rain chances. Plenty of clouds will still be around the Mid-South on Wednesday, and there is still a slight chance of a shower. Temperatures will climb a few degrees for Wednesday, but we are still going to be a bit below average. Overall, I think the weather on Wednesday will be pretty similar to how Tuesday played out.
