KMVT-TV (Twin Falls, ID)

KMVT was home to all three major television networks: NBC, CBS, and ABC. Shows were aired through live broadcasts from the network, live studio presentations, or kinescope recordings. All commercials were either performed live or filmed, and everything was shown in black and white. In 1965, KMVT made history by becoming the first station in Idaho to produce local programs in color, which was quite rare at that time since only a few network shows were in color. A few years later, KMVT enhanced its capabilities by introducing live studio broadcasts in color.
