The hot air quickly dries out the lubricant in the steel damper bearings causing them to seize. The Made Here series finale features two short documentaries, both about the Vermont floods of 2023. Harry's Harry's - One Vermont Community and the Flood of 2023 Seth Grant’s film Harry's — One Vermont Community and the Flood of 2023 introduces us to Harry's Hardware in the center of Cabot. The store and bar serves as a third place to gather at the heart of the town, and this is the story about the community coming together to rebuild after the flood.

In the Made Here film The Vermonter, from Morrisville-based director Aynsley Floyd, octogenarian sheep farmer Bambi Freeman is forced to abandon her life's work and sell her farm due to complications with multiple sclerosis. Facing an unknown future, Bambi offers poignant observations for those confronting transitions in life. Recently, The Vermonter screened at the 2025 Made Here Film Festival in Burlington and received a special jury mention award.

Every year, the Made Here series features film work from students at Champlain College. This year's showcase features three short documentaries, one that examines the history and practice of sheep farming in Vermont, another about how fine guitars are crafted locally, and a film that tells the story of a changing Dublin neighborhood, from the Champlain College Dublin campus.
