    Il dipartimento per l'Energia degli Stati Uniti (DoE) non è nuovo alla pubblicazione di interessanti statistiche sulle auto elettriche. Ma l'ultima colpisce forse più di tutte. Protagonista dell'analisi è l'autonomia dichiarata delle vetture a batteria in vendita negli USA dal 2011 al 2024. Stando dunque al DoE, negli ultimi 13 anni il chilometraggio medio delle BEV (Battery electric vehicles) risulta essere quadruplicato, passando da 68 a 283 miglia (109-455 km).
