    Good morning, Sunriser readers! Earlier this week I spoke with a dancer who knows the exact moment she decided to become a ballerina. She was just a few years old, sitting in her living room in a tiny Montana town, watching a performance of “Romeo and Juliet” on PBS. She can still feel the touch of the couch and the way her feet tingled, she told me. Now she’s one of the principal dancers at Colorado Ballet.

    Good morning, Sun readers. The spring-green blades of daffodils poked through the old mulch in my front yard over the weekend, my favorite sign that warm days are ahead. It took us years, like 10, to remember to plant daffodil bulbs, and so for a long time, even though I was happy to see the tulips and daffodils blooming around the neighborhood, I was also annoyed that I had missed the boat another year.

    Good morning, Colorado. I finally snagged tickets to see the Denver Art Museum’s Maurice Sendak exhibit last weekend – it was my second try, after tickets were sold out last time I visited. Besides getting lost in the wondrous illustrations of his classic 1963 children’s book, “Where the Wild Things Are,” I loved learning about Sendak’s many other works throughout his prolific 60-year career that inspired TV shows, operas and movies.
