In a recent legislative move, Colorado lawmakers passed a bill aimed at enhancing rideshare safety by allowing audio and video recording on trips, banning food and drink offers by drivers, and giving passengers the right to file lawsuits directly against drivers or companies. The bill, led by Representative Jenny Willford, comes after she was sexually assaulted by a Lyft driver last year.
