Happy post-Thanksgiving Friday. It’s me again, filling in for Tyler Estep, who certainly sprained his typing pinkie in family flag football. The forecast is chilly with highs in the 40s, and you are likely filled to the gizzard. Here are things to do with your leftovers. (Thanksgiving Wellingtons? Get outta town.)Hopefully you aren’t footballed out, because there’s plenty more pigskin to heat up — Georgia and Georgia Tech are playing on Black Friday for the first time since 1994.

Good morning, all. Grab your morning coffee koozie, it’s going to be a sunny, 70-degree day that should continue through the weekend. It’s prime weather for a mimosa festival or, if you live in Rockdale, finally walking outside. Did I mention it’s Friday? Know what that means? Tyler Estep is almost back from what I can only hope was a restorative family vacation (is that an oxymoron?). I know you are all eager for his return, but I’ve also loved hearing from the A.M. ATL readers.

Cover your plants 3. Open the cabinet beneath your sink 4. Start peeling and slicing onions to prep Virginia Willis’ basically-good-for-you French onion soup. Now that that’s out of the way, settle in. We’ve got:Upbeat news — Jimmy Carter fulfilling his wish of living long enough to vote.

Happy Wednesday, y’all! Expect another crisp, sunny day with highs in the low 60s. There is a lot to get to, as yesterday was jammed with breaking news. In sports: Georgia Tech-UGA announced they are taking their rivalry in 2025 to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which will also officially play host to the 2028 Super Bowl. Donald Trump: Ex-GOP rivals gathered together in Cobb County for the former president’s rally, where he painted a dark picture of Democratic policies.
