The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) serves as the primary daily newspaper for the Atlanta metropolitan area in Georgia, USA. It is the main publication of Cox Enterprises. The AJC was formed when The Atlanta Journal and The Atlanta Constitution merged, with staff integration taking place in 1982. The separate morning edition of the Constitution and the afternoon Journal ceased publication in 2001. The AJC is based in Dunwoody, a suburb of Atlanta, and is co-owned with WSB-TV and six radio stations that operate in midtown Atlanta. Following the 1982 staff merger, the afternoon Journal held a conservative viewpoint, while the morning Constitution leaned toward a center-left perspective. Once the two editions combined in 2001, the editorial teams merged as well, leading to a more balanced approach in their editorial content. However, the majority of the paper's editorial positions have continued to align more closely with the center-left ideology of the former Constitution.

Monday Night Brewing is adding a new taproom and expansive outdoor space to its original West Midtown location. The new space, called the Grove, is located along a forthcoming section of the Atlanta Beltline’s Northwest Trail. Both are scheduled to open in August. The Grove will expand the brewery’s footprint with an indoor/outdoor space that will largely replace the current taproom at the end of Trabert Avenue.

Jonesboro police were called around 10:30 p.m. to the parking lot of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, where players had met for a game. “Witnesses reported an altercation had erupted after (the game), which escalated into gunfire, leaving multiple individuals wounded,” police said in a statement.
