GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- Teach One to Lead One is a non-profit organization that started more than 25 years ago. Members of the new-to-Grants Pass program spent Tuesday afternoon designing pillow cases for men and women on duty away from home. This craft project is part of the 14-week curriculum for Teach One to Lead One. Once the fourth graders are done designing their pillowcases, they will be sent to the group's headquarters and then sent to servicemembers.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- The 5th annual Kite Festival at Lake of the Woods is kicking off Friday evening with a three-course Valentine's Day dinner starting at 4 p.m. This comes a year after the festival was cancelled due to the lake not being iced over. Middle school students have collected enough food to provide 24 full Thanksgiving meals for families in the area. MEDFORD, Ore. -- A new psilocybin facility, Shrooms Cafe, has opened in Medford. The founder told NewsWatch 12 the building can have up to 25 people at a time. There is a preparation form governed by the state that needs to be filled out ahead of the dosing session. "There's certain rules that exist on the state level, and then there's a couple rules that exist in Medford only," said Mike Kirkwood, founder of Shrooms Cafe.
