ALEXANDRIA, La.(KALB/Gray News) - Carlo Acutis, dubbed ‘God’s Influencer,’ is being recognized by the Catholic Church as the first millennial saint years after his passing. Father Taylor Reynolds with the Diocese of Alexandria studied the life of Acutis. Reynolds said Actuis was born in 1991 and grew up in Milan, Italy, with a family that wasn’t necessarily very religious. However, Acutis felt compelled to attend church and encouraged his classmates to not get into fights or school drama.
