Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman doubled in the first inning on Sunday, making him the 70th player in Major League Baseball history with 900 career extra-base hits. This was a shortened outing for Kershaw, who started on four days rest after tossing six scoreless, hitless innings on Tuesday in the Arizona Complex League at Camelback Ranch. That marked his first start on four days rest since May 21, 2023 with the Dodgers.
