Photo by Harry How/Getty Images The Dodgers were outclassed by Mets pitching on Wednesday night, as they dropped the penultimate match of this four game set by a final score of 6-0. The Mets were greeted with a hit by pitch from Tony Gonsolin to Francisco Lindor, followed by a fielding error from Kiké Hernández to put runners at the corners with nobody out.

Photo by Harry How/Getty Images The Dodgers take on the Mets for the penultimate time in the regular season on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium. Tony Gonsolin is on the mound for the Dodgers, the first of two straight pitchers starting on four days rest. Thus far the team has gotten pretty good results in the first three starts on four days rest, with Gonsolin (May 11), Dustin May (21) and Clayton Kershaw (May 28) combining to allow two runs in 16 innings, with 15 strikeouts and five walks.

Photo by Mark Blinch/Getty Images The Dodgers have added yet another pitcher. This time, they signed right-hander José Ureña to a major league deal, and activated him for their Tuesday night game against the Mets. Ureña is not to be confused with Monday trade acquisition Will Klein, who took the 40-man roster spot of Chris Stratton, who signed just eight days earlier. In between, the Dodgers also traded for right-hander Alexis Díaz, though the closer is fine tuning at Camelback Ranch for now.
