Association of MUC5B pQTL with COPD PhenotypesSubsequently, we tested whether rs140324259 was related to clinically-relevant COPD phenotypes, namely CB and AE. In the subset of SPIROMICS participants with complete phenotype, genotype, sputum MUC5B, and clinical outcomes data (n = 141–143), we found that rs140324259 was not associated with CB at baseline/enrollment (p = 0.25, S5 Table).
