ALBANY, N.Y. — Average gasoline prices in Albany have fallen 5.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.09/g on Monday, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 546 stations in Albany. According to a press release, prices in Albany are 4.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 48.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased by 4.8 cents in the last week and stands at $3.546 per gallon.

TROY, N.Y. — Mayor Carmella Mantello announced “Operation Refresh” for the spring of 2025. According to a press release, Operation Refresh coincides with the city’s Spring-Cleaning schedule that advises residents on the dates, times, and locations of street and alleyway cleaning throughout the city. Starting Monday, April 14, Quality-of-life Action Crews will begin Operation Refresh which will include street cleaning, deep cleaning of alleyways and rejuvenating city parks.
