    Sani/Ikos Group has confirmed plans to open its “most expansive Ikos property to date” following the acquisition of three hotels in Halkidiki, Greece. The luxury all-inclusive hotel operator has pledged €400 million to redevelop Athos Palace, Pallini Beach and Theophano Imperial, transforming the 40-acre site into Ikos Kassandra, the first ‘Ikos Grand Resort’.

    Trade sales for Elegant Resorts for the first 10 weeks of the year are up 14% compared with the same period in 2024. New managing director Gordon McCreadie said bookings through agents and Elegant Resorts’ Private Travel Designers team – which together account for about 30% of the operator’s total sales – were “outperforming” other channels. “As a business we’re trading at +10% so trade’s outperforming the other channels which is really great to see,” he said.

The luxury hotel brand said the newly created role underscored its commitment to strengthening its presence and fostering growth in the market.
