Three awards go to The Brutalist and two each for Conclave, Dune: Part Two and WickedEmilia Pérez was the big winner of the 29th Capri, Hollywood – International Film Festival with six awards including Best Picture, Best Actress (Karla Sofia Gascon), Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Ensemble Cast. The film also won the Best Makeup and Hairstyling e Best Producers of the Year (Pascal Caucheteux, Jacques Audiard, Valérie Schermann, Anthony Vaccarello).

The American Film Institute (AFI) Board of Trustees announced today that Francis Ford Coppola will be the 50th recipient of the AFI Life Achievement Award, America’s highest honor for a career in film. The award will be presented to Coppola at a Gala Tribute at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on April 26, 2025.
