The Texas Secretary of State's Office reports 33 potential noncitizen voters in last year's general election, based on a review of a federal citizenship database called SAVE (Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements). Earlier this year, President Donald Trump signed an executive order that allowed states free access to the SAVE database for the first time.

The week before Thanksgiving Break seems to be one of the most chaotic times of the year for everyone; whether it’s finishing up midterm projects, planning a family gathering, or traveling long distances, I’ve noticed that many people are frazzled and unhappy. As a Senior in college this semester, the finals are rolling in and the work is piling up. The end is in sight, but it feels like there is still so much busy work to do to get there.

I just watched one of the coolest horror movie releases of 2024 and I need to tell you all about it! It’s What’s Inside was directed by Greg Jardin and just released on Netflix this past week on October 4th. The film follows a group of wildly different friends at a pre-wedding party as it descends into an existential nightmare; bodies are explored, secrets are revealed, and technology shows us a deeper aspect of the human connection.

Donald Trump proudly displayed his injury from a recent assassination attempt during a meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, strutting the injury as if it wear a hero's mark. Trump made it a point to first and foremost proudly point at his wound as Netanyahu looked on as if his entire ear was blown off. The duo convened for the first time in four years, following a fallout after the Israeli Prime Minister hastily congratulated Joe Biden on his 2020 presidential victory.
