TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – We’ll have another warm day tomorrow, very similar to what we’ve had the past two days. However, changes are coming on Sunday in the name of cooler temps & very windy conditions region-wide. The winds calm down by Cinco De Mayo Monday, but the region cools off further down to the 70s & 60s. Scattered showers will stay to our north for the most part, but you can’t rule out a shower or two in Southern AZ on Sunday, Monday, & Tuesday.

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – I’m live from Rita Ranch at the sight of the winner of our 13 News “Deck The House Holiday Lights Contest”! Hopefully, those amazing decorations are weather-resistant because a soaking system will be moving through the area starting tomorrow morning. Rain/storms will really get heavy by the afternoon/evening hours and clear out by the overnight hours from west to east. The highest rainfall amounts will be to the north and west of Tucson.

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The scattered showers many received early today were just an appetizer of the much more substantial entree yet to come. Widespread rain will enter the region late Thursday night & continue through Saturday night/Sunday morning. The best chance for rain in Southern AZ will be Friday through Friday night. Widespread rainfall amounts of an inch or more are possible in the region.

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - After some spotty showers and storms Tuesday, moisture is moving out of the region Wednesday but the heat is sticking with us. A ridge of high pressure will build through the rest of the workweek, with highs climbing 10° to 15° above normal. Additional daily record highs are likely and we may set a new record for the latest triple-digit day in Tucson on Friday.

Have you ever seen this bird in Arizona? A RARE SIGHT: A Crested Caracara feeding her babies nestled in a cactus. Photographer Pete Gregoire found the nest years ago and decided to return this week. To his delight he spotted an entire family! Perfect for Mother's Day! @KOLDNews https://t.co/1Tr61mvvNm
