But, for the past two years, the City of Edmond and partners throughout the city and state fought to change state laws related to removing such illegal language from historical property documents. Body The Edmond City Council voted 4-1 to accept the resignation of City Manager Scot Rigby during tonight's meeting. Mayor Darrell Davis was the only dissenting vote. Rigby served as City Manager since March 2022. Randy Entz, Assistant City Manager, has been appointed as acting City Manager. Galloping Art Installed In the past, live horses roamed the area; now they’ve returned in majestic bronze, The Valley of the Horse, by Paul Moore. A ceremonial groundbreaking for the Beacon of Vision statue was held at the Oklahoma History Center last week and included the artist and designer, Nathan Pratt, who had the original dream of the concept. The stainless steel monument will stand at least 50 feet tall, and will depict Oklahoma aviator Wiley Post wearing his famous eye patch and pressurized flight suit.

Body On Friday, November 22, the Antlers’ playoff run came to an end, losing the quarterfinal playoff game to Owasso 40-26. Quarterback Grady Adamson led the team with 228.6 total yards in the game, passing 183.9 of those yards. Mason Smith was Adamson’s main target receiving 110.6 yards, while Lemar Davis led Deer Creek in rushing with 61.4 yards.
