By Esmeralda Zamora AUSTIN (KXAN)- Several first responders responded to a two-story home in northwest Austin that sustained damage after an explosion was heard by multiple callers as far as Cedar Park, Leander, and Georgetown. The incident happened at the 10400 block of Double Spur Loop. Officials say a total of six were injured in the collapse, and there is currently no information on what caused the explosion.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Wednesday morning, the State Firefighters’ and Fire Marshalls’ Association of Texas (SFFMA) will host a memorial service to honor volunteer firefighters who have died in the line of duty. A release from SFFMA said the memorial service will be held at the Volunteer Firemen’s Memorial monument on the south lawn of the Texas Capitol. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
