Garrett Hudgens, a 30-year-old resident, has been charged with murder, according to the Dallas Police Department. DEL RIO, Texas — A 41-year-old man from Del Rio has been sentenced to 288 months in federal prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Leonardo Estrada was apprehended at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint on Highway 277 near Eagle Pass on February 15, 2023. During the inspection, a K-9 unit alerted agents to Estrada's vehicle, leading to the discovery of two plastic bundles wrapped in clear plastic tape concealed beneath the carpet behind the gas and brake pedals.
