The Aliquippa School Board voted to not renew head basketball coach Nick Lackovich's contract, despite three consecutive WPIAL championship appearances and three state championship berths. The school board will hold a meeting on June 2 to discuss filling the coaching vacancy. Lackovich compiled a 106-33 record in his second stint with the program, including four WPIAL titles and two state titles.
