The Florida Gators had the best May 2025 of any program in college basketball. Two members of last season’s national championship team, Alex Condon and Rueben Chinyelu, made the announcement that they will return for one last ride in 2025-26. They join forward Thomas Haugh, who decided he’d be staying in Gainesville on April 25. With 7-1 Micah Handlogten back for another season as well, it’s hard not to look at Florida’s frontcourt and automatically assume it’ll be the best unit in the country.

Purdue football added to its Class of 2026 on Tuesday evening with a pledge from 3-star safety Dana Greenhow, who hails from Tyrone, Georgia - just outside of Atlanta. Greenhow, who stands at 5-11, 170 lbs, picked the Boilermakers over the likes of West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Mizzou and Wake Forest, to name a few. He made his pledge following an official visit to West Lafayette on May 30.

Jim Marshall, a former Ohio State defensive end and one of the best Minnesota Vikings in franchise history, has passed away at the age of 87 after a lengthy hospitalization, the Vikings announced on Tuesday. Before his legendary NFL career, Marshall starred for Ohio State in 1957 and 1958, leading the Buckeyes to a pair of top 10 finishes along the defensive line and a championship in 1957 (as well as a Rose Bowl victory).
