That news was first shared by On3’s Pete Nakos on Friday afternoon. Nakos reports that Sullivan will visit Tulane next weekend and has also been in contact with Virginia Tech. Sullivan entered the transfer portal this week after competing with Auburn transfer Hank Brown for the starting job at Iowa this spring.

Michigan has a new punter for the 2025 season. According to a report from 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer, the Wolverines have signed former Missouri punter Luke Bauer out of the transfer portal. Bauer was Missouri’s starting punter for each of the past 2 seasons:Missouri punter transfer Luke Bauer has signed with Michigan, @chris_hummer and I have learned for @cbssports/@247sports.

Former Ohio State star Cade Stover is coming off a solid rookie campaign for the Houston Texans. As he works to prepare for his 2nd NFL season, the tight end shared the inside story of how he learned he was being drafted. While a handful of star prospects attend the draft in person, most players wait at home or with viewing parties across the country to find out where they will land. Tom Izzo, whether he thoroughly likes it or not, must use the transfer portal this offseason to rebuild portions of his Michigan State roster. On Friday, that involved the Spartans landing a veteran piece out of the Southern Conference. That player is Trey Fort, a 6-foot-4 guard out of Samford. Fort started 33 games for Bucky McMillan this past season and was an All-Southern honoree after also spending time at Ole Miss and UT Martin in his career.

Kirk Ferentz and Iowa have not added a huge transfer recruiting class this offseason. However, the Hawkeyes have picked up some potential difference-makers, including one along the offensive line on Friday. That player comes in the form of Bryce George, a 6-foot-5 and 314-pound offensive tackle out of Ferris State. The program is a D-II powerhouse where George was twice an all-conference selection and was an All-American this past season.
