Published 11:51 pm Friday, April 18, 2025 The LaGrange boys soccer team put on a show in their regular season finale on Friday, blowing out Fayette County 11-1 at Callaway Stadium. The Grangers were down two starters with Ty Hollstrom and Brennan Connell picking up injuries against East Coweta on Thursday. It did not matter as the Grangers stormed past the Tigers on Friday. Aidan Collins and Luis Morales led the Grangers’ attack, with both players scoring a hat trick on the night.

The Grangers delivered a scintillating performance in front of their home fans, winning 4-1. “We came into this game not wanting it to be the last game we ever played,” senior Ava Arrington said.

As just one of two golfers at LaGrange Academy, Walker Rockwell knows that experience all too well. The senior made a massive breakthrough this season and qualified for the GIAA state tournament for the first time, finishing as the Region 1-2A runner-up.

Published 8:55 pm Thursday, April 17, 2025 The Callaway girls soccer team wrapped the 2025 regular season on Thursday with a 4-2 victory of Luella. The night belonged to senior Bianka Sola as she scored her first career hat trick. The first-year soccer player has flourished with the Cavaliers. She opened the scoring in the 15th minute before adding a second early in the second half. The senior would cap off her hat trick with a goal in the final minute of the game.
