Banks was responding to a prompt from a reporter. It’s unlikely Banks knew DaCosta would be in attendance that night, and even more unlikely that she knew they’d have a run-in.

Naomi Watts has always, in her words, felt like a bit of an outsider. She was born in Kent, before her mother uprooted an eight-year-old Naomi and her brother to Anglesey in North Wales, then back to England again before the family finally emigrated to Sydney, Australia, when Watts was 14.
