The Mid-Penn Conference girls lacrosse regular season is getting down to the wire with the postseason just around the corner. With another week of action comes time once more for PennLive’s weekly Player of the Week fan vote. Cedar Cliff’s Alana Sollenberger won last week’s vote. Roddick Invitational boys notebook: State College dominates, Cumberland Valley sets records

SHIPPENSBURG — The 98th annual Roddick Invitational was chock-full of individual records, milestones and first-place finishes, but State College ultimately seized the day. The Little Lions placed five in first place at Shippensburg University’s Seth Grove Stadium en route to a team title behind a whopping 103.50 points on Saturday. Palmyra was second with 45 points and Cumberland Valley was third (44). Full results can be viewed here.
