Cumberland Valley midfielder Payton Basehore elevated the Eagles every time she stepped on the field this spring. Beyond 90 goals, 18 assists, 93 draw controls, 55 ground balls and 48 caused turnovers, the Temple recruit helped pilot her squad to its first Mid-Penn Conference title since 2017. And for those reasons, coaches recognized Basehore as the Commonwealth Division Player of the Year as the Mid-Penn announced its All-Star selections for girls lacrosse on Thursday.
