MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Medical Examiner's Office (ME) was called to N. Teutonia Ave. and W. Ring St. Sunday night. Typically the ME is called to scenes for death investigations. This can include homicides, suicides, and other instances. TMJ4 reached out to the Milwaukee Police Department, but did not receive an immediate response. TMJ4 is at the scene and working to learn more. This is a developing story.
Two-vehicle crash in Caledonia; Milwaukee man dead, Racine man injured

CALEDONIA, Wis. — A two-vehicle crash on Northwestern Ave. in Caledonia left one man dead and another hospitalized Sunday around midday, according to the Caledonia Police Department (CPD). A 70-year-old man from Milwaukee was driving a black Mercedes SUV on Northwestern Ave. and suddenly crossed the center line of the road. A 62-year-old man from Racine in a black Dodge pickup truck towing a boat crashed into the Mercedes after it crossed the line, according to a post by CPD.
Motorcyclist killed in Jefferson County crash Sunday afternoon

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. — A motorcyclist died in a crash on I-94 headed West in Jefferson County Sunday afternoon, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT). The Wisconsin State Patrol (WSP) responded to the crash at about 2:15 p.m. where the motorcyclist lost control and crashed on the interstate near Lake Mills near milepost 245.2. Severe injuries from the crash led to the death of the motorcyclist at the scene. The crash is under investigation by WSP.

MILWAUKEE — Memorial Day is upon us and that means some government services will not be available for the day, like garbage collection and open office hours. The City of Milwaukee's Department of Public Works (DPW) is closed Monday. No garbage or recycling will be picked up Monday and the collection days will shift forward after the holiday, so expect pickup to come a day later. Milwaukee Equal Rights Commission to hold meeting on facial recognition use by police

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Equal Rights Commission (ERC) will hold a hybrid public meeting to discuss the implementation and use of facial recognition technology by the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD), according to a government notification. Time will be limited for public comment and the ERC is only allotting a total of 30 minutes for the citizens to weigh in. Each person who signs up must keep their comments under three minutes, according to the release.

MADISON, Wis. — Unlike what is suggested in the name, panfish's natural habitat is not swimming in butter, but rather roaming Wisconsin's freshwater systems as one of the most abundant and popular freshwater sporting fish in the state, according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR). The different species have historically been studied less than other sportfish, despite their popularity, according to the DNR. A study by the department aims to change this.
Garage completely destroyed in Kansasville fire Saturday

KANSASVILLE, Wis. — Authorities responded to a report of a lawnmower that caught on fire inside a detached Kansasville garage Saturday at about 4:45 p.m. — when they arrived the structure was completely engulfed. The Kansasville Fire and Rescue Department got to the scene on S. Beaumont Ave. where they saw the fire rapidly growing and the door of the garage burst outwards after an explosion. It took about 25,000 gallons of water and about five gallons of foam to put out the flames.
One dead, two injured in multi-vehicle crash on I-94 Friday afternoon

DANE COUNTY, Wis. — Four vehicles crashed on I-94 westbound, leaving one dead and two hospitalized Friday afternoon, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Office (DCSO). A pickup truck with a travel trailer, an SUV, a minivan and a second pickup truck all crashed near mile marker 240 on the interstate, DCSO said in a release. Authorities requested multiple ambulances to the scene and ended up transporting three people to hospitals in the area.

MILWUAKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) is asking for the public's help to find Nathalia Neveaux, a critically missing woman last seen at 4:30 p.m. Sunday headed east on a bus from N. 6th St. and W. Center St. Neveaux, 41, is about five feet and five inches weighing about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and red hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black leggings and Nike shoes with gray, pink and orange detailing.
