Tiffany Bohrer’s days as an artist and entrepreneur are as full as the historic building she and her husband own in downtown Guthrie. Inside the 10,000-square-foot Osage Building, her Tipsy Artist “palace” accommodates as many as 80 painters. The building also provides her home and living space for several tenants and AirBNB guests — plus a personal painting studio, sunroom and garden. LOKals retail shop sells handmade goods from the Osage Building, too.

Stylist Alice Decker of Decker8 Designs selected deep green velvet chairs with contemporary lines, a classic wooden table and a striped jute rug as the foundation for a winter-themed dining room. Her goal was to create an “effortless and relatable” feel by mixing evergreen cuttings with things homeowners may already have on hand: simple dishware, shiny ornaments, antiques and thrift store finds.

The antique wooden table in Blake and Merrick Fitzgerald’s dining room isn’t just beautiful; it’s meaningful. Once belonging to Merrick Fitzgerald’s great-grandmother and previously located in her grandmother’s home, the table has been the centerpiece of gatherings for generations. “We’ve been around that table for a lot of important things,” Fitzgerald said.
