    PHOENIX(KYMA, KECY) – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) said it is implementing season Stage 1 fire restrictions on BLM-managed lands including Yuma County. The restrictions are effective on Thursday, June 6, at 8 a.m.According to BLM, fire managers noted an increase in wildfire activity expected to peak as the weather gets hotter and drier. These fire restrictions help limit activities on public lands known to be the most common causes of wildfires.

    YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The teen tied to an armed robbery in March was back in court Tuesday and may soon receive a plea offer. 18-year-old Jayden Patino is being charged with six felony counts, including one count of aggravated robbery and kidnapping. This after police said Patino, along with a 17-year-old suspect, broke into a couple's home near 42nd Place and Avenue 8E and robbed them at gunpoint.
