    TUCSON, Ariz. — Border wall construction in Arizona and New Mexico is to be expedited after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem issued three new waivers. About 36 miles of new wall to 'close critical gaps' will go up as a result of the order, according to a media release from Customs and Border Protection. These waivers come in addition to the waiver that was signed by Noem and published in the Federal Register in April 2025 for border wall construction in California.

    TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Baseball are NCAA Eugene Regional Champions after defeating the Cal Poly Mustangs in blowout fashion 14-0. The Wildcats started off strong in the first inning. With no outs and a runner on first base, junior outfielder Aaron Walton sent a home run out to center field, putting Arizona on the board first 2-0. Then, in the bottom of the second, and the score at 5-0 Arizona, Walton would come up again with a runner on second.
