Minister of Commerce Andrew Bayly told a worker during a ministerial visit to "take some wine and f... off" and called them a loser while forming the shape of an 'L' on his forehead. The incident happened on a visit to a warehouse, leaving the complainant feeling "degraded, embarrassed, and deeply disrespected". Bayly said he has apologised for the interaction, to the complainant and Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, adding the comments were "unintentional" and meant in a "light-hearted manner".
