Abstract:Cross-industry synergistic emission reduction has become a new strategy for achieving a carbon emissions peak and carbon neutrality. To explore the typical spatial distribution and cross-industry synergy effect of carbon emissions in key industries, this paper analyzes the carbon emissions of coal and power industries in Jiangsu Province from 2006 to 2020 using the empirical orthogonal function (EOF) and a panel vector autoregressive (PVAR) model.

Key regions in the embodied carbon transfer networkRegions with high carbon flow The distribution of the contribution of degree strength by province is shown in Figure 6. Degree did not change significantly during the study period. A total of 23% of the provinces controlled half of the carbon flows, while less than 50% of the provinces controlled 80% of the carbon flows. This means that both PE and CE are distributed in a few provinces.
