IPI’s court battles, controversies continueThe court battles of troubled Imperial Pacific International (CNMI) LLC in several civil cases both in local and federal courts continued throughout the year. In fact, just last Wednesday IPI, though its new lawyers, Stephen J. Nutting and Michael Chen, filed another civil case against the Commonwealth Casino Commission in federal court, alleging that CCC is taking a judicial role in interpreting the Casino License Agreement.
