The secret soap star past of one of the AFL’s highest profile club presidents can be revealed. In a case of from Ramsay Street to Arden Street, Dr Sonja Hood, the president of North Melbourne, has a claim to fame outside of footy circles as a Neighbours star. “I was actually an extra,” Hood confirmed. “I was on Neighbours in about 1994 as an extra sitting in Daphne’s coffee shop.”Hood said she had never harboured acting ambitions.
